New location in Regensburg

The Regensburg site is part of MiIKROGEN GmbH, headquartered in Neuried (Upper Bavaria). The combination of the pathogen-specific immunostimulation technology developed in Regensburg with the know-how of MIKROGEN in diagnostics and automation will open up completely new opportunities  for diagnostic system solutions in the area of infectious and autoimmune diseases. These include diagnostic solutions for immune monitoring and personalized management of virus reactivations in transplant recipients, as well as for the reliable early diagnosis of microbial infections (e.g. active tuberculosis) and of autoimmune diseases (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis).

With T-Track® CMV, a highly sensitive CE-marked in vitro diagnostic solution has been developed in Regensburg, from conception to market approval. T-Track® CMV measures the functionality of cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific cell-mediated immunity. It adds an additional dimension to CMV risk stratification and complements CMV viral load monitoring, thereby assisting clinicians toward an improved and personalized management of CMV complications in immunocompromised patients.
